Architects – Webol

For architecture practices

Less redrawing. More time designing.

Practical AI automation for architecture practices running project-based teams. Built around the systems you already use, live in weeks, and measured in hours given back to design.

The problem

Sound familiar?

The day-to-day drag in a busy architecture practice rarely comes from the design work. It comes from everything around it.

Visuals rebuilt for every revision

CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and client visuals rebuilt from scratch each time a design changes, rather than updated automatically from the model.

Specifications retyped from scratch

NBS (National Building Specification) schedules and product data retyped from manufacturer literature project after project, rather than reused and updated.

Building safety compliance chased by hand

Building regulations evidence pulled together manually ahead of every submission — and for higher-risk building work, Golden Thread records and Gateway evidence under the Building Safety Act 2022 add another layer on top.

Utilisation and billing lag the work

Time recording, fee proposals and invoicing reconciled by hand, so utilisation and cash flow slip through the cracks.

None of this needs more staff, and most of it doesn’t need new software. It needs the systems you already have connected up and working for you.

Why this, why now

AI must be scalable, not scattered.

AI is moving faster than most operations can absorb. Pilots that never connect to everyday work stall out, and the gap between early movers and everyone else widens every month.

Up to £7,000 of lost value per team, every month — just 20 hours a week of manual admin, at typical rates, adds up to £3,000–£7,000 a month in lost value.

Capacity to scale

Enough delivery bandwidth to apply AI repeatedly across the business, not just once.

Capability to deliver

The skills and operating model to turn AI intent into working, everyday solutions.

Readiness to compete

Moving early enough that the efficiency gap doesn’t quietly close against you.

Webol’s AI Delivery Framework gives you all three without the cost or risk of building it in-house.

Illustrative example

What this looks like in a 25-person architecture practice.

A typical first three months for an architecture practice — the kind of result our discovery sprint is designed to size and prove for your practice before you commit.

10 hrs

a week of retyping removed between visualisation, specification and product data

Same day

from design review to updated specification issued — down from several days

Minutes

to pull a complete building regulations compliance record — not days of digging

*Numbers calculated from Webol’s typical first-phase automation outcomes in other sectors.

Scope

Where the hours go back.

Automation across the parts of the business that carry the paperwork.

Visualisation & concept design

Client visuals and CGI updated automatically as the design develops, instead of rebuilt from scratch for every revision.

Specification & product data

NBS schedules and product data drawn from manufacturer sources and reused across projects, not retyped every time.

Compliance & building safety

Building regulations evidence generated with the job and filed audit-ready, including Golden Thread and Gateway records for higher-risk building work.

Utilisation & billing

Time recording, fee proposals and invoicing synced with your practice management software — cash flow tracks the work, not the paperwork.

Clients & tenders

Enquiries, tender questions and client updates answered instantly, day or night, in your practice’s voice.

Delivery framework

From discovery to delivery.

Every engagement starts the same way, then scales through whichever tier fits your ambition.

Step one

Discovery Sprint

A focused sprint to map your priority use cases, engage the right stakeholders, and define a clear 90-day roadmap tailored to your operation — before you commit to anything. There’s a Lite and a Full version, depending on how much detail you need up front.

  • Lite — one week, for fast clarity and a prioritised roadmap.
  • Full — two weeks, adds a complete solution blueprint and a board-ready pack.

Once the discovery sprint is complete, we move straight into building AI into the area that needs it most, via one of the three tiers below.

Create momentum fast

AI Accelerator

Quick, high-impact automations that reduce manual effort and prove value early, without disrupting what already works.

  • Live improvements in weeks, not months
  • Automates the repetitive, high-friction stuff
  • Clear proof it works before you scale

Embed AI into operations

AI Enablement Layer

A modular AI layer connecting your data, tools and workflows into one repeatable, organisation-wide capability.

  • A shared platform across teams and systems
  • Secure links between your data and approved AI models
  • Reusable copilots, search and reporting

Extend and evolve safely

Innovation Lab

A private, governed environment for advanced use cases, once you’re ready to go further.

  • Fine-tuned models aligned to your data
  • Full governance, controls and compliance
  • Built for long-term scale, not experiments

Whichever tier you start with, AI stops being a side project — it becomes part of how your business gets more effective, month after month.

Investment

Pricing.

Rolling monthly engagements, priced by delivery capacity — not per feature or per use case.

Step zero

Discovery Sprint

£5,000 (Lite, 1 week) or £7,500 (Full, 2 weeks)

Fee waived when you commit directly to a tier

Credibility

Why us.

We run our own business on this.

Webol delivers more work today than two years ago, with half the team — using exactly the approach we’d build for you. We sell what we live.

UK-led, sensibly priced.

Product ownership and accountability in the UK, engineering in our own team in India — senior delivery without the agency day-rate.

No big-bang projects.

Weekly releases, runbooks for everything we ship, and nothing that disrupts the systems your operation depends on.

Optional depth

For your technical lead.

Optional depth for your technical lead. If anyone else wants to find out more about how we work, please book in a call to talk it through.

How the automations are built
Modular, API-first integrations between your existing systems, orchestrated centrally with monitoring and alerts. Each automation ships with a runbook, rollback path, and a short training clip for the team that uses it. Nothing is hard-coded into a platform you can’t leave.
Where your data goes
Data stays within approved connections between your systems and vetted large language model providers under UK GDPR. No customer data is used to train public models. On the Enablement and Innovation tiers, access controls, hosting arrangements and cost oversight are agreed and documented before anything goes live.
Systems we commonly connect
  • Accounts — Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or your accounting platform of choice
  • CRM, email and phone systems — we connect with most providers you’re already using
  • Spreadsheets and shared drives — if a process still runs from one of these, we’ll connect it rather than force you onto something new
What happens if we stop
You keep everything: the automations, the documentation, the runbooks, and admin access to every account. Engagements roll monthly after the minimum term, and we hand over cleanly. Lock-in is a business model we don’t want.

Bring us your next redraw.

One 15-minute call, free and no obligation. We’ll tell you whether it’s automatable and whether we’re the right people to build it. If we’re not, we’ll say so.
